The Power of Purple
Amongst all colors that can be perceived by the human eye purple has the lowest frequency. Therefore, in mysticism it is considered the highest color on the planetary and cosmic level. Purple is the color of the two highest chakras – the Third eye and the Crown (The Crown is sometimes described as being "Pure Light," not violet). The bearer of the purple color brings a divine, cosmic message. Purple is associated with the planet Pluto.
The purple aura has significant importance, because this color has a magnetic attracting power, almost hypnotic. It is a favorite color of many. The "Purple People" are blessed with high artistic skills, are very creative and have a rich imagination. They are conscious of their skills and are proud and confident on their path. They are attracted by the unknown, religions, faith, and the study of mysticism.
Light purple (violet) is usually found within people living in their own worlds, masters of their private domains. In order to achieve their goals, which might seem insignificant to others, they are ready to give up many things. They are engulfed in the warmth of family and friends.
Dark purple is also known as "Royal Purple." People who carry this color are in search of the highest realm, the divine. Many of those who aspire to succeed and rise to positions of power may choose this color as a symbol of their ambitions. If they eventually succeed they will gain fame and fortune, but if they fail they will drop all the way down into bitter reality.
