Description: This choker-necklace is from the surfer collection. By pulling the two knots the necklace's length can be adjusted from fitting tightly around the neck to dangling at chest level. At the center of the necklace, and it's main element, is the resin brown Evil Eye bead that looks like an eyeball looking at you. According to Greek and Turkish tradition this eye imitation serves to repel the Evil Eye. Evi eye beads come in a variety of sizes, shapes and colors and are incorporated into all kinds of jewelry - necklaces, bracelets, earrings, keychains, pendants and more. In this necklace, on both sides of the Evil eye bead are colored wooden beads or rondelles - very delicate and beautiful, and made in China. To give the necklace a silver metallic finish the artist added two Tibet Silver decorated spacers. Tibet silver is similar to pewter - an alloy of copper, and sometimes tin or nickel, with a small percentage of pure silver. It resembles aged silver, but it can be polished to provide highlights on complex castings. The nickel content is nowadays reduced or absent, due to common allergies to this metal.
